Graduated at 1982 at Colombian Navy Marine School as Third Officer. He has developed a bright career onboard Lineas Agromar’s vessels until arrive to Brazil as Port Captain and Owner’s Representative until 1999.

Very well-known name on the marine transportation market with access to many ports, stevedores, terminals and shippers at South American Ports. He has worked for many important Owners as Port Captain and Port Operations Manager for U.S. Gulf, Caribbean, Brazilian and Argentinean ports: Lineas Agromar, Oceanbulk Liner Services, Navesco S.A., TBS Shipping Services and others.

Accredited Marine Surveyor® (AMS-1009) of de Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors® since 2009.

Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technological University of Pereira (Colombia) Title revalidated by the University of São Paulo (USP).

Graduated in Financial Management from the Universidad Libre de Pereira and EAN Bogota (Colombia) and has an executive MBA of BBS Brazilian Business School.
